About HomeGrrl

keli.jpgHomegrrl, Keli DiRisio

My career in real estate didn’t start the conventional way. After obtaining undergraduate and graduate degrees in graphic design and publishing, I worked in the advertising design industry for a number of years, taught design at the university level, worked at design studios, and eventually started my own firm. I have created advertising campaigns for a variety of corporations, and developed branding strategies for corporate identities, products and concepts. Over the last fifteen years I have developed an expertise in marketing, advertising, website development and e-commerce. I not only understand the value and importance of todayís technology in the marketing process, but I have the knowledge and experience to implement that technology in creating an aggressive and effective marketing campaign. Always searching for new challenges, I felt it was time for a change. I realized that I had developed an interest in the real estate industry through my involvement in promoting my husband’s home building business, one of the area’s premiere and most respected home building companies, DiRisio Builders. I made the logical conclusion that I could add value to my husband’s business, and to real estate in general, by channeling my marketing and advertising experience toward selling a new product, homes.

It is important to note that I am not focusing solely on DiRisio Builders. My overall goal is to develop a complete real estate service through Realty 3, offering my expertise to both buyers and sellers of new and existing homes.

On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Lou and our son Matthew. But all work and no play makes Keli a dull girl! Having ridden since I was a little girl, I enjoy riding my horse. You can see me and my steed, Shakespeare, at some of the local shows.

I also enjoy oil painting, especially portraits.

I try my hand at golf too, but still need quite a bit of practice!
